Adopt Pan

Pan is a juvenile/young adult East Bornean Orangutan currently residing in Kutai National Park in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Pan is part of an important population of orangutans being studied by the Orangutan Kutai Project.

Pan is the second offspring (that we know of) of Putri, a resident adult female East Bornean Orangutan. He has been observed to be venturing farther away from his mother. Orangutans typically stay with their mothers for at least 8 years after birth, with females typically staying longer. Pan has been observed alone more frequently as of late, acting like a “big kid.”
